Send the day, the hours, and how old your kids are. That is everything I need to say yes, and I answer the same day.

We meet first, free

If we have never met, I come by for fifteen minutes while you are still home so your kids can meet me. No charge either way.

You go have dinner

You get one short text at bedtime and come home to a quiet house with the toys put away.

I’m Emily, and I live on the Hill.

I’m a sophomore at Palos Verdes High School and I watch kids ages four to ten on weekend evenings. I’m the sitter who actually gets on the floor and plays: forts, LEGO, drawing, whatever your kid is into that week. I also get teeth brushed and lights out on time.

My parents drop me off and pick me up, so I only take jobs here on the Peninsula. References from local families are available the moment you ask.

How it goes

What an evening with me looks like

    I arrive ten minutes earlyYou show me around, tell me the rules, and I write down where you will be and who to call.

    Dinner, if that is the planI heat up whatever you left, keep it off the couch, and clean up after.

    Real play, not screens by defaultGames, crafts, backyard time. Screens only if you say screens.

    Your bedtime routine, your wayPajamas, teeth, a book, the nightlight, the specific stuffed animal. Tell me the order and I follow it exactly.

    One text while you are outA short "all good, they are down" so you can enjoy dinner without checking in.

    The house looks how you left itToys away, dishes done, lights off in the rooms we used.

Rates

Simple, and no surprises

$15
per hour, one child
Add $3 an hour for each additional child. Time starts when I walk in, rounded to the nearest half hour.
